‘CHASING RABBITS IN HER SLEEP’ – Written by Terry Bennetts

I produced and recorded this new track in my Red Dog Recording Studio, and the song is dedicated to our beautiful Kelpie dog Molly, who lived to the ripe old age of sixteen and a half years. I wrote four verses as a poem about two months before she passed away, which picked up two songwriting (Lyrics Only) awards in Tamworth 2024. So on the back of those wins, I wrote a fifth verse, added a tune, and it is now my latest single. As I wrote the poem, my thoughts were also with Teddy, a Redcloud Kelpie we had on the farm when I was a young fella.
