A FORTUNATE LIFE

The title track of Terry’s fourth album ‘A Fortunate Life’ is based on the life of an extraordinary West Australian - Albert Facey and his best-selling book of the same name.

The first single off the album ‘Welcome to Australia’ went to #2 on the Country Music Charts and remained in the charts for three months and picked up two National Comedy Song awards.

‘Station Minderoo’ written with Keith Lethbridge and previously recorded by Dale Duncan picked up Best Bush Ballad at the Tamworth Songwriting Awards and also won Best Country song over all genres. It was also #1 on the Country Music Charts for three weeks.

Terry with his band ‘Band of Mates’ picked up three awards in Tamworth for Best Group, Best Collaboration, and Best Recording Producer for their song ’Sons of Australia’ where the three of them sing about the areas of Australia where they grew up.
